Abalone — Colours of the Ocean

Each pair begins with the extraordinary natural beauty of Abalone shell, treasured for its incredible iridescence and ever-changing shades of turquoise, ocean blue, emerald green and violet.

Working with the natural shape and character of the shell, skilled Balinese makers carefully shape and hand carve each piece using techniques passed through generations, transforming it into delicate feathers, wings and intricate forms inspired by the ocean and the natural world.

No two pieces of Abalone are ever exactly alike. Each has its own colours, markings and luminous character, making every pair beautifully individual. The hand-carved shell is complemented by warm nickel-free brass and finished by hand.
