Hand-Rolled Incense
From Pushkar, with intention.
imple about lighting incense. A flame. A curl of fragrant smoke. A moment to slow down, breathe and return to yourself.
The Yutorizen incense collection is handcrafted and hand rolled in Pushkar, Rajasthan, by a small family business where incense making remains a hands-on artisan process.
Each stick begins with a slender core around which the incense mixture is carefully rolled by hand. It is a traditional method that requires touch, patience and experience — working the mixture evenly along the stick before allowing it to dry and develop its fragrance. It is this human element that makes hand-rolled incense feel so different from something created solely by machine. (nqr.gov.in)
Made by Hand. Rooted in India.
Incense has been woven into Indian life for generations. Its fragrant smoke has long accompanied prayer, puja, meditation, yoga and moments of quiet reflection. Over time, the making of agarbatti also became an important cottage craft, providing livelihoods for artisans and small-scale makers across India.
Our collection comes from Pushkar, a place with a deep spiritual character and a long association with pilgrimage, ritual and contemplation.
For us, knowing who makes something and how it is made matters.
Choosing to work with a small family business allows us to support traditional skills and independent craftsmanship rather than anonymous mass production. Each packet carries something of the hands, knowledge and place from which it came.
Ten Fragrances. Ten Different Moods.
From the grounding warmth of Sandalwood and the familiar richness of Nag Champa, to Rose, Patchouli, Tulsi, Lotus, Buddha, Rajni Gandha, Yoga Meditation and the evocative Soil of India, the collection has been chosen to offer a fragrance for different moments and moods.
Light one before meditation or yoga. Burn one while journalling, reading or taking a bath. Use fragrance to mark the end of a busy day, or simply because you want your home to feel calm and inviting.
There doesn't always need to be a ceremony.
Sometimes the ritual is simply remembering to stop.
A Small Ritual for Slower Living
At Yutorizen, we are drawn to pieces with a story — things made by real people, using skills that deserve to continue.
Our Pushkar incense embodies that philosophy: simple, soulful and handmade, connecting an everyday ritual with an Indian craft tradition that has existed for generations.
Light the tip.
Let the flame catch.
Gently blow it out.
Watch the smoke rise.
Slow down. Breathe. Be here.
