These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings for the Yutorizen Siesta in Spain Retreat. Please read them carefully before booking. By completing your booking and paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking & Payment
A deposit of £250 per person is required to secure your place. Your booking is confirmed when Yutorizen has received your deposit and sent you written booking confirmation.
For a shared room, the total retreat price is £1,195 per person. The payment schedule is:
• £250 deposit per person at the time of booking
• £350 due by 31 December 2026
• £595 final payment due by 28 February 2027
For a private room, the total retreat price is £1,595 per person. This includes a £400 private-room supplement. Private rooms are limited and are only confirmed once Yutorizen has confirmed availability in writing.
Payments must be made by the stated due dates. If you believe you may have difficulty making a payment on time, please contact Yutorizen as soon as possible. If an overdue payment remains unpaid after reasonable written notice, Yutorizen may treat the booking as cancelled by you and the cancellation provisions below will apply.
2. What’s Included
Your retreat price includes:
• Five nights’ accommodation at Finca Indigo.
• Brunch and dinner during the retreat, as set out in the retreat itinerary.
• Scheduled yoga and meditation sessions.
• A sound bath with an external facilitator.
• A two-hour Flamenco dance workshop.
• A group day trip to La Herradura for the beach and shopping.
• Any group transport or transfers expressly stated in your booking confirmation or final itinerary as included.
Participation in yoga, meditation, workshops and organised activities is optional.
3. What’s Not Included
Unless expressly stated otherwise in your booking confirmation, the following are not included:
• Flights to and from Spain.
• Travel insurance.
• Optional activities or treatments, including kayaking, snorkelling, paddleboarding and massages.
• Personal expenses, purchases and spending money.
• Meals, drinks, transport or services not expressly listed as included.
• Any additional accommodation or travel arrangements before or after the retreat.
4. Guest Cancellation & Refunds
If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify Yutorizen in writing by email. The date your written cancellation is received will be treated as the cancellation date.
The £250 booking deposit is used to secure your place and may be retained only to the extent reasonably necessary to cover losses and costs arising directly from your cancellation. Any cancellation charge or amount retained from payments already made will be limited to Yutorizen’s reasonable, unrecoverable losses resulting from your cancellation, taking into account costs saved and Yutorizen’s ability to re-sell your place.
If your place is successfully re-sold, Yutorizen will take that into account when calculating any amount retained and will refund any balance due to you after deducting reasonable unrecoverable costs directly associated with your booking and cancellation.
Where a refund is due following a guest cancellation, Yutorizen will explain the basis on which any deduction has been calculated.
You are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance as soon as your booking is confirmed, including cover for cancellation where available and appropriate to your circumstances.
5. Cancellation or Significant Changes by Yutorizen
Yutorizen may need to cancel or make a significant change to the retreat because of circumstances outside its reasonable control, or where it is not reasonably possible to provide the retreat as booked. If this happens, you will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
If Yutorizen cancels the retreat before it begins and you are not at fault, you will receive a refund of the retreat payments you have made to Yutorizen for services that will not be provided. Where appropriate, Yutorizen may offer an alternative retreat or alternative arrangement, but you will not be required to accept it.
Yutorizen is not responsible for independently booked flights, airport parking, additional accommodation or other travel arrangements. For this reason, appropriate travel insurance is strongly recommended.
6. Travel Insurance
You are responsible for arranging appropriate travel insurance for your trip. We strongly recommend that your policy includes, as appropriate, cover for cancellation or curtailment, overseas medical treatment, emergency assistance and repatriation, lost or delayed baggage, and any optional activities you choose to undertake.
It is your responsibility to check that the insurance you purchase is suitable for your individual needs and circumstances.
7. Health, Yoga & Participation
Participation in yoga, meditation, workshops, excursions and other retreat activities is voluntary. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable for you and for participating within your own capabilities.
Before taking part, you must inform Yutorizen and, where relevant, the facilitator of any injury, medical condition, pregnancy, medication or other circumstance that may materially affect your safe participation. You should seek appropriate professional medical advice if you are unsure whether you should participate in any activity.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
8. Dietary Requirements & Allergies
You will be asked to provide details of dietary requirements and food allergies before the retreat. Please provide complete and accurate information by the requested deadline and notify Yutorizen promptly if anything changes.
Yutorizen will pass relevant dietary information to the venue or caterer and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate notified requirements. Specific dietary requirements cannot be guaranteed unless they have been expressly confirmed.
9. Activities & Itinerary
The published programme is intended as a guide. Yutorizen may make reasonable changes to the timetable, facilitators, classes, excursions or activities where necessary because of weather, safety, availability or other circumstances outside reasonable control.
Where a material part of the retreat cannot be provided, Yutorizen will take reasonable steps to offer an appropriate alternative where practicable. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Optional activities arranged separately or purchased directly from third-party providers may be subject to that provider’s own terms, conditions and safety requirements.
10. Personal Possessions
You are responsible for your own luggage, money, valuables and personal possessions during the retreat. Please take reasonable precautions and use any secure storage provided by the venue.
Yutorizen will not be responsible for loss of or damage to personal possessions except where that loss or damage results from Yutorizen’s negligence or where liability cannot otherwise lawfully be excluded.
11. Passports, Entry Requirements & Travel Arrangements
You are responsible for arranging your own travel to and from Spain and for ensuring that you hold a valid passport and satisfy any visa, entry, health or other travel requirements applicable to you.
You are also responsible for allowing sufficient time for your journey and for checking current travel requirements before departure.
12. Conduct
All guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, facilitators, venue staff and the property. If a guest behaves in a way that seriously threatens the safety or wellbeing of others, causes serious disruption, or causes deliberate or reckless damage, Yutorizen may take reasonable steps to address the situation.
Where serious behaviour makes continued participation untenable, Yutorizen may require the guest to leave the retreat after considering the circumstances. Any refund will depend on the services not received, costs already incurred and any other relevant circumstances, and will be assessed fairly and reasonably.
13. Liability
Yutorizen will provide the retreat services described in your booking with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights.
Yutorizen is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made, or for losses caused by events outside Yutorizen’s reasonable control, except where the law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
14. Complaints
If you experience a problem during the retreat, please raise it with Yutorizen as soon as reasonably possible so that there is an opportunity to address it during your stay. If the matter is not resolved, please contact Yutori Zen in writing after the retreat with details of your concern.
15. Changes to These Terms
The Terms & Conditions that apply to your booking are the version provided or made available to you when your booking is made. Yutorizen will not make retrospective changes to those terms that materially disadvantage you without your agreement, except where a change is required by law.
16. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms & Conditions and your booking are governed by the law applicable to your consumer contract. Nothing in this clause deprives you of any mandatory consumer protection available to you under applicable law.
